Polish farmers blocked the Khyzhne checkpoint on the border with Slovakia. The protest will last until the end of March. This was reported by Radio Liberty.
The information about the protest was confirmed to Radio Liberty by the Jablonka Commune. The blockade began at 10:00 local time (09:00 Kyiv time).
According to the farmers, the protest was launched because agricultural products from Ukraine and Russia are allegedly entering Poland via these roads.
According to preliminary data, the blockade will last until the end of March. Farmers plan to let one truck through per hour. At the same time, no "restrictions" will be imposed on cars and buses.
