On Thursday, March 7, a failure occurred in the operation of the Ukr.net service. Users were unable to access the website's news feed and @ukr.net email. The reason for this was that the domain name registrar Network Solutions blocked the domain.
The management announced the situation in a press release, apologizing to users for the inconvenience. It is noted that the problem occurred at 01:35.
"Last night, the domain name registrar Network Solutions suddenly and without any warning blocked the ukr.net domain... The problem could not be solved through the registrar's support service," the representatives of the Internet service said.
They expressed hope that they will be able to get more information and find out the reasons and circumstances of the blocking at the beginning of the working day of the office of the American registrar company. They also appealed to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the USA Oksana Markarova for help.
It should be noted that Ukr.net is one of the most popular online news services in Ukraine and is among the ten most visited websites in the Ukrainian segment of the network.
