Russian troops are deploying reserves to capture Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region (former the Maryinka direction). There are more enemy attacks in this area of the frontline than near Avdiivka. This was reported by Dmytro Likhovyi, spokesman for the Tavria operational-strategic group, on Radio Liberty.
According to him, the enemy is concentrating very large reserves in the area of Novomykhailivka and is sending reinforcements to capture the village.
"There are more attacks there every day than in the Avdiivka direction. For example, yesterday there were 20 attacks in the Avdiivka direction and 30 in Novomykhailivka and its surroundings. But the defense is holding, the enemy is making huge efforts, but is not successful at all," said Likhovyi.
As a reminder, in January, Russian troops captured the completely destroyed city of Maryinka near Donetsk.
