Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk wants to impose comprehensive EU sanctions on agricultural products from Russia and Belarus. He plans to propose a draft resolution to the Sejm calling on the European Commission on this issue. This was reported by PolskeRadio24.
According to the publication, today he will present such a proposal to Sejm Speaker Szymon Hołownia.
"Today, after returning from Vilnius, I will address the Speaker of the Sejm in Warsaw with a proposal to adopt a resolution of the Polish Sejm calling on the European Commission to impose full sanctions on agricultural products, Russian and Belarusian food products," Tusk said.
It is known that in Vilnius, the head of the Polish government met with Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė.
Among other things, the politicians discussed agriculture and the import of agricultural products from Ukraine to the European Union.
