Russian pilot Kuzminov, who was killed in Spain, was using a "defense plan". Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said this in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, answering the question of how Kyiv assesses the murder of the Russian pilot.

"I can say two things: if a pilot who uses a protection plan is forced to avoid contact, change his life to stay alive, and this happens to him anyway, Spain should investigate. Through this in-depth investigation, Spain should demonstrate who should pay for this crime," Podolyak said.

He noted that there is a "Russian mafia" in Spain. And he said that "our military intelligence should have commented on this better."
