The Russian army carried out an airstrike on Kurakhove, Donetsk region, on February 22. The occupiers dropped a KAB-250 on the city, including the enterprise, nine people were wounded. This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
"On February 22, at 10:10 a.m., the enemy shelled Kurakhove using KAB-250," the statement said.
According to the prosecutor's office, nine employees were injured in the airstrike on the territory of the enterprise: two of them were women and seven men aged 31 to 54.
"All the victims were taken to the hospital for qualified medical care. The wounded were diagnosed with closed head injuries, bruises and concussions," the department stated.
Under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
