Ukrainians' trust in the telethon continues to fall. As of February, only a third of respondents trusted the information from the marathon. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology on February 19.
In December 2023, 43% of respondents trusted the telethon, while 38% did not. As of the beginning of February 2024, the share of those who trusted it dropped to 36%. At the same time, the share of those who do not trust has increased to 47%.
According to the KIIS, although those who do not trust President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky are much more critical of the telethon, even among those who trust him, 48% trust the telethon, while 33% do not.
Residents of the West and Center of the country are somewhat more critical of the telethon. At the same time, in fact, all regions, no more than 40% trust it.
