Russian troops attacked DTEK's thermal power plant in the frontline region for the second time in a day on February 16. This was reported by the company's press service.
"DTEK's thermal power plant has been attacked for the second time in a day. This afternoon, the enemy attacked the frontline TPP again. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the statement said.
The shelling damaged the plant's equipment. Power engineers are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.
DTEK noted that since the beginning of this heating season, the company's thermal power plants have been shelled by the enemy about 40 times.
