Some units have been rotated in Avdiivka, and the command is bringing new reinforcements to the city. This was reported by Ivan Sekach, a representative of the 110th separate mechanized brigade, in a commentary to Radio Liberty.
According to him, the 110th Brigade no longer has sufficient capabilities to hold the city, but reinforcements are coming and the unit is counting on new units.
"For the first time in the two years of the 110th Brigade's operation, some of our units have been fully withdrawn from combat for rest and rotation. Indeed, reinforcements have arrived. I will not say what kind of unit it is. But it is a powerful support, we feel a bit calmer," said Sekach.
He noted that the fighting in Avdiivka is going on for the city and its outskirts, the Russians are trying to cut the supply line and have superior forces.
"They have a full-fledged air superiority, which means we cannot influence the air raids, the bombing of the city and our positions. They have a huge number of people, which they do not reckon with, and they are constantly experimenting with different groups using armored vehicles," the military emphasized.
It should be noted that yesterday Forbes reported that the 3rd assault brigade was redeployed to Avdiivka.
