As of this morning, February 13, Polish farmers have blocked five checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. There are more than a thousand trucks in the queues. This was stated by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, during a telethon.
He said that yesterday until 10:00 Polish farmers blocked two directions: "Yagodyn" and "Rava-Ruska". And after 10:00 they resumed blocking Shehyni and expanded the geography of their actions in the direction of the Ustyluh and Uhryniv checkpoints.
"In fact, these are five directions where truck traffic is blocked on the territory of Poland," said Demchenko.
According to him, a small number of trucks are allowed to pass through, with 1-2-3 vehicles per hour going to and from Poland.
"Fortunately, traffic for other categories of transport is not blocked. Cars and buses are free to cross the border in both directions," said Demchenko.
