The incidence of influenza and ARVI among children is growing in Kyiv. Therefore, schools may be closed in the capital. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
Over the past week, 11,305 cases of the disease were reported among children, which is 2,244 cases more than in the previous week.
Medical workers urged parents not to take children with symptoms to schools and kindergartens. It is also recommended to observe epidemiological safety measures and be health conscious.
If the number of cases among schoolchildren continues to grow, the city authorities may recommend that educational institutions switch to distance education.
