Forced evacuation of children has been announced in certain settlements of the Maryinka and Ocheretyne communities in Donetsk region. This decision was made at a meeting of the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies on January 24. Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk RMA, wrote about this in Telegram.
"Today we have decided to start it in certain settlements of the Maryinka and Ocheretyne communities. There are still 72 children there," he said.
Filashkin reminded that in some frontline communities of Volnovakha, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts, forced evacuation has been going on since April last year.
