Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk and representatives of parliamentary factions discussed further financial and military support from the United States during a meeting with US Special Representative for Ukraine's Economic Recovery Penny Pritzker and the delegation she leads. Stefanchuk posted this on Facebook.
"I noted and thanked for the unprecedented support - financial, military and humanitarian - provided by the United States to Ukraine in this difficult time. We discussed further financial and military support from the United States," Stefanchuk said.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability and efficient use of funds received from American taxpayers.
The parties also discussed issues related to Ukraine's reconstruction, including the confiscation of Russian sovereign assets and support for the private sector, including the agricultural, IT and banking segments.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized the importance of attracting investment in these sectors to promote the development of the Ukrainian economy.
