Polish carriers are going to block the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint on the border with Ukraine again. This was reported by one of the organizers of the protests, Rafal Mekler.
Meckler noted that the planned blocking of the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint will be organized by carriers, not farmers, as it was last time.
The border will be blocked at the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. The strike will begin on January 15 at 9:00 a.m. and will last until March 15.
The document published by Meckler says that the action is being taken to draw the government's attention to the difficult situation of companies and their employees in the transportation sector.
The protesters are demanding the introduction of a separate queue for empty Ukrainian trucks in the eShlyah system, a limit on ECMT permits for trucks weighing more than 7 tons, and a ban on registration and withdrawal of existing licenses for transport companies with capital outside the EU.
