Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijarto will meet with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Uzhhorod, the Foreign Ministry confirmed that the meeting, which is also scheduled for January 29, will also include the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak. This was reported on the ATV TV channel.


"If all goes well, there is a confirmed date of January 29, we will meet with our Ukrainian counterpart, Minister Kuleba, in Uzhhorod to see if a high-level meeting can help the situation," the statement said.


According to him, the parties will discuss preparations for the meeting between Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.


It will be recalled that during a conversation with the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, Peter Szijjarto expressed the opinion that a meeting between Zelensky and Orban would only make sense if concrete results were achieved.


Oleg Nikolenko, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also confirmed that Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijarto will meet with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, in Uzhhorod on January 29.


"The key topics will be the organization of a meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to promote decisions important for Ukraine in the European Union and the comprehensive development of bilateral relations," Nikolenko said.
