Bezuhla is recalled from the post of Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security

The Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence recommends that the Verkhovna Rada recall MP Mariana Bezuhla (Servant of the People) from the post of deputy chairman. This was confirmed by the Committee's secretary and MP Roman Kostenko, Ukrainian media reported.

Kostenko said that the committee had voted to remove Bezuhla from the post. After the committee's decision, MPs must vote for it during a meeting, he explained.

The reasons for this decision are unknown.

The first to write about this was Vadym Ivchenko, a member of the Batkivshchyna party. He noted that he had voted in favor of the dismissal.

Bezuhla reacted to the situation by calling her colleagues "workaholics."

"Dear Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, decisions can only be made by voting in the hall. Workaholics, I love you. Special "thanks" to Zavitnevych, who proactively put this recommendation to a vote. Chief," Bezuhla wrote.

She later added that this was "only a recommendation from the committee" and said that the decision was "as insidious as possible." The deputy claims that the chairman of the committee allegedly put the proposal to a vote "when I warned him that I would be late for the meeting in my absence; and my colleagues voted."

"I will never give up, and no blackmail will make me give up my principles, work, struggle and truth," she summarized.
