At a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on January 10, MPs failed to include the dismissal of Marianna Bezuhla from the post of deputy chairman of the Committee on National Security and Defense in the parliamentary meeting. This was stated by opposition MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
According to Zheleznyak, the attempt to include Bezuhla's resignation in the agenda was supported by MPs Kryvosheev, Gerashchenko, Gerasimov, Razumkov, Kabachenko and Ustinova. However, the leader of the "Servant of the People" faction, David Arakhamia, opposed this step.
After unsuccessful attempts to reach an agreement, the MPs decided to block the rostrum, thus causing Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk to close the Rada meeting.
