The priority in future US military aid packages to Ukraine will be to strengthen air defense, said John Kirby, Strategic Communications Coordinator for the White House National Security Council.
In particular, air defense is considered to be the most important weapon in the list of weapons for which the White House wants to receive additional money from Congress.
"Air defense would be at the top of the list," Kirby assured.
In particular, according to him, providing Kyiv with air defense and other types of military equipment is the most effective response to Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
"For this, we need Congress to approve our request for additional funding for Ukraine without delay," Kirby added.
