Ministry of Energy: Upcoming frosts in Ukraine may complicate the work of energy companies

The cooling that is expected in Ukraine from January 6 to 10 may "lead to complications" in the operation of energy companies in most regions of the country. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.


According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the frost will come along with snowfalls, blizzards, rains and ice. The coldest temperatures will be in the northeast, down to 18-20 degrees below zero.


"The cold weather is expected to last until January 10, with frosts easing by the middle of the month," the statement said.


The Ministry of Energy added that all services are ready to deal with the consequences of bad weather.
