This morning's violation of Polish airspace during another massive attack against Ukraine is a signal to our allies that we need to strengthen our air defense. This was stated by Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat during a telethon.
According to Ihnat, violations of airspace during massive Russian strikes are nothing new. He recalled how a few months ago one of the terrorists' attack UAVs went down in Romania. Similar incidents have also occurred in Poland.
"This can happen as a result of massive attacks. The enemy is attacking the border areas in the west (of Ukraine), so it is possible. This is another signal to our partners to strengthen Ukraine with the necessary number of air defense systems so that we become a shield between the aggressor and Europe. We protected ourselves and protected them," the Air Force representative said.
As we reported earlier, on Friday morning, December 29, an unidentified flying object entered Polish airspace from the side of Ukraine.
