Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes that Ukrainians should not worry about Donald Trump's possible victory in the 2024 US presidential election. Kuleba said this during the NV event "Ukraine and the World Ahead 2024".
"Who sold Ukraine the first American weapon, the Javelin? President Trump. Who launched the program of free transfer of the first naval vessels to Ukraine, boats of the Island and Mark VI type? Trump. Who fought the Nord Stream 2 project and imposed sanctions on the Fortuna ship that laid the pipeline? It was Trump," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister recalled.
Kuleba believes that media speculation about a possible "big deal" between Trump (if elected president) and Russian President Vladimir Putin is groundless.
"There is no 'big deal' possible. Neither now nor in the future. When they start writing about it again, forget it, there will be no big deals between Putin and anyone (in the United States)," he said.
According to Kuleba, "you just have to know how to work" with Trump, and Ukraine "should not be afraid" of any outcome of the US election.
