Finland will provide more military aid to Ukraine. President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö made a decision on this issue today, December 21. This was reported by the Finnish Ministry of Defense.
This is the 21st delivery of military aid from Finland to Ukraine. The ministry noted that Finland will need approximately 106 million euros to replace the allocated aid.
"Finland is committed to supporting Ukraine in both the short and long term. The total value of the defense equipment packages we supply is now 1.6 billion euros," said Defense Minister Antti Hakkanen.
In order to ensure safe delivery and for operational reasons, no further information will be provided on the specific content, method and schedule of the assistance.
The development of the additional assistance took into account the needs of Ukraine and the resource situation of the Defense Forces.
