Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine Dmytro Tyshlek resigns

The deputy head of the National Police of Ukraine, Dmytro Tyshlek, has submitted his resignation, RBC-Ukraine reports. According to him, he submitted his resignation of his own free will.


"I decided to write a letter of resignation from the post of deputy head of the National Police of my own free will. I submitted it to the management for signature. I'm also waiting for the results of the SBI investigation, which was launched at my request, and the NACP inspection," Tyshlek said.


Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that Tyshlek's dismissal had been approved.


Earlier, the media reported that Tyshlek's wife has Russian citizenship, and he allegedly uses the real estate and car of the family of the partner of the leader of the Rostov criminal group. The deputy head of the National Police denied this information and initiated the investigation himself.
