The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has created a special structure for the integration of F-16 aircraft. It is called "Office 61" and includes several stages of deployment and several directions. This was announced by First Deputy Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavlyuk on Facebook.
"I took part in a conference with Western partners in Copenhagen (Denmark), where I presented the concept of Office-61, a specially created structure at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, whose main goal is to organize comprehensive support for the continuous integration of the F-16 multi-role aircraft into the Ukrainian Defense Forces," he said.
The general added that the "Office 61" program will have two stages of deployment:
- "Fast track", designed until the end of 2024;
- "Scaling up".
