Strikers on the Polish border do not allow humanitarian aid and fuel to enter Ukraine

On the Polish side of the border, strikers are not letting trucks with humanitarian aid heading to Ukraine through checkpoints. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Serhiy Derkach.

The official noted that statements about the alleged passage of trucks with humanitarian aid and dangerous goods by Polish carriers "are not true."

"We have recorded numerous facts when fuel tanks and humanitarian aid are standing in lines," he said.

Derkach also added that he is passing information about this situation to his Polish colleagues for response.

"We are waiting for a response on how this correlates with the statements about the unimpeded crossing of such cargo," said the deputy minister.

According to him, 12,000 trucks were blocked at the Krakovets-Korczowa checkpoint yesterday, the same number of trucks were blocked in front of Dorohusk, and 500 trucks were blocked at Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne.
