The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution on the implementation of a pilot project to provide additional support to the population for the purchase of solid household heating fuel during the 2023-2024 heating season. Beneficiaries will be able to receive UAH 13.6 thousand, and subsidized persons - UAH 16.2 thousand. This is stated in the government decree of November 7, 2023, No. 1173.

The sources of funding for the pilot project are state budget funds, as well as funds used with the consent of foreign governments, international organizations, and donor agencies.

The payments will be available to people who live in residential premises (houses), do not receive a utility service for the supply of heat energy for centralized heating (heat supply) and do not use natural gas or electricity for individual heating, and during 2023-2024.
