The EU has said that it is unlikely to fulfill its promise to supply Ukraine with one million rounds of ammunition by March 2024. Bloomberg writes about this, citing sources.
The European External Action Service passed this information on to EU diplomats.
More than half of the planned deadline has passed, and only 30% of the shells have been delivered.
At the same time, the EU leadership does not have a complete picture of the supply, as some member states are "reluctant to disclose details."
"The supply of ammunition to Ukraine is becoming even more urgent as Russia has been able to increase its own production," the publication writes.
Diplomats anonymously say that supplies from the DPRK only increase demands on the EU to improve the efficiency of its production.
