Slovakia's new government has blocked the transfer of another €40.3 million military aid package to Ukraine, the Slovak publication Pravda reports.
The previous government had planned to send the fourteenth military aid package, which would have included ammunition, 140 rockets, mines and mortars. However, the new government of Prime Minister Fico blocked this proposal.
It is worth noting that the newly elected Prime Minister Robert Fico has repeatedly stated that Slovakia will no longer provide military assistance to Ukraine. Slovakia and Hungary have also previously blocked a new €50 billion aid package for Ukraine from the EU.
