US imposes new sanctions on Russia, including banks and Lancet developer

Today, on November 2, the United States imposed a new package of sanctions against Russia. Banks, the developer of the Lancets and members of the Russian government are among the targets of the restrictions. This was reported by the US Treasury Department.


It is noted that more than 30 individuals and almost 200 legal entities were subject to restrictions.


Some of the sanctioned individuals are:

  • Alexey Sergeevich Besprozvanny - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation;
  • Viktor Leonidovich Yevtukhov - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation;
  • Aleksandr Vyacheslavovich Zakharov - the designer of Lancet kamikaze drones.

The sanctioned persons also include citizens of Ireland, Switzerland, Cyprus, Sweden, Latvia and Turkey.
