Republicans set conditions for supporting Ukraine: demand a victory strategy and reporting

The US Republican Party has set conditions for the administration of US President Joe Biden to continue supporting Ukraine. Congressmen demand clear reporting on the war. This was stated by California Congressman Mike Garcia.

He believes that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and US leader Joe Biden should provide Congress with a "victory strategy". It should contain accurate estimates, ultimate goals, and criteria for ending the war. Garcia also demands more reporting on weapons provided to Ukraine.

In his opinion, Biden and Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin should explain the need for further assistance, that is, what weapons are being sent and how they can help Ukraine win the war.

The Republicans want the White House to provide a list of weapons that can change the stalemate at the front and that Ukraine has not yet received. The US Treasury and Treasury Department are required to report to Congress on the level of implementation of sanctions against Russia. Garcia also insists on a tougher sanctions policy against Russia by the US and NATO.

As a separate point, the congressman asked whether Ukraine and the United States agree on the issue of Russian-occupied Crimea.
