Aid to Ukraine and Israel will be considered separately, - Speaker of the US House of Representatives

The new Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, said that aid to Ukraine and Israel will be considered separately, not in a single package, as proposed by the White House. He said this in an interview with Fox News.

According to him, he will support a separate bill that includes funding for Israel's defense.

"There are a lot of things going on around the world that we have to deal with, and we will. But right now, what's happening in Israel requires immediate attention, and I think we need to separate that out and see it through," Johnson said.

He expressed confidence that this initiative would be supported by both parties in Congress.
