On October 26, Ukraine suspended the use of the new Black Sea grain corridor due to the threat of Russian military aircraft. This was reported by the consulting company Barva Invest with reference to the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine.
According to Barva Invest, the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine published a message on the evening of October 25 announcing the suspension of ship traffic through the grain corridor starting October 26, 2023. This ban has actually been in effect for the past two days due to the decision of the military, which cited an "explosive threat" resulting from increased Russian aviation activity.
It is reported that the ban will be extended on October 26.
Barva Invest also emphasized the possible consequences of the suspension of the grain corridor, pointing to its potentially negative impact on the logistics chain and the purchase price of products.
