Mike Johnson, the new speaker of the US House of Representatives, who was elected on October 25 after several weeks, said he supports providing aid to Ukraine, but "with conditions," NBC News reports.
When asked whether he supports increasing aid to Ukraine, the speaker replied: "We will have conditions on that, which we are working on."
"We want accountability, and we want clear goals from the White House. But we will have these discussions. It will be very productive," the Republican added.
It is worth noting that the new Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson is a supporter of former President Donald Trump.
