Ukraine received the ninth tranche of macro-financial assistance from the EU for EUR 1.5 billion

Ukraine has received the ninth tranche of macro-financial assistance from the European Union in the amount of EUR 1.5 billion. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.





The total amount of budget support from the EU in 2023 has already amounted to 15 billion euros.


The Prime Minister emphasized that this plays an important role in strengthening Ukraine's economic stability and strength.


He also noted that Ukraine is currently working with the European Commission on a new long-term program, the Ukraine Facility, which will total 50 billion euros. In the near future, the country expects to receive 18 billion euros from this program.


Denys Shmyhal expressed gratitude to the European partners for their unwavering solidarity with Ukraine.
