UN discovered additional evidence of military aggression in Ukraine

The United Nations Commission of Inquiry has announced that it has provided additional evidence of Russian military aggression and war crimes in Ukraine, including acts of rape and the illegal deportation of children to Russia. This was reported by the UN.

"The Commission has found new evidence that the Russian authorities have committed violations of international human rights and international humanitarian law, as well as related crimes in the territories under their control in Ukraine," the report says.

In particular, these events relate to the attacks in the cities of Uman and Kherson.

The UN has documented these attacks targeting civilian objects, including residential buildings, railway stations, shops, and vehicles intended for civilian use.

It should be noted that Russia persistently rejects accusations of committing brutal acts and attacks on the civilian population in Ukraine.

In addition, cases of rape with the use of physical force and psychological pressure have been documented.

The UN reports that most of the incidents occurred after the attackers broke into the homes of victims who reported violence committed under the threat of weapons and murder or other serious harm to them or their relatives.

In addition, evidence was found of the transportation of 31 children from Ukraine to Russia in May last year.

According to the UN commission, this deportation was illegal and constituted a war crime.
