The ATACMS ballistic missiles provided by the United States should be used exclusively within the sovereign territory of Ukraine. This was stated by Pentagon spokesman General Patrick Ryder at a video briefing.
"I can't go into details about the number of ATACMS we have provided to Ukraine. However, like all other systems and equipment that we have delivered, they have been backed by assurances that they will be used within the framework of sovereign Ukraine to retake and defend sovereign Ukrainian territory," Ryder said.
According to him, the United States will continue consultations with Ukraine, as well as allies and partners, in the near future to ensure that Ukraine has everything it needs to defend itself against Russian aggression.
