The Constitutional Court of Georgia has issued a ruling on the impeachment petition against President Salome Zurabishvili, recognizing that she traveled to Europe in violation of the country's Constitution. This was reported by the publication "Georgia Online".

The head of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, Merab Turava, said that the decision was accompanied by the opinion of three members of the Constitutional Court plenum.

According to Turava, the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, violated the Constitution of the country by fulfilling her representative duties in the field of international relations without the government's consent.
