The Netherlands will send F-16 aircraft to training centers for Ukrainian pilots in Romania within a few weeks, the NL Times reports.
Ukrainian pilots will soon begin training flights on F-16 fighters.
Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren said that the deployment of the training center in Romania, which is located next to Ukraine, is progressing well.
"We hope to transfer 12-18 aircraft to Romania within a few weeks, which means that the center can start working," she said.
Ollongren emphasized that the Netherlands is still working on additional assistance for Ukrainian air defense.
