In Kyiv this morning, an armed man broke into a business center and fired several random shots. The attacker was detained, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports.
"In Kyiv this morning, an armed man broke into a business center, drove the guards out of the building and made several chaotic shots," the statement said.
According to law enforcement officials, the incident occurred on Vaclav Havel Avenue in Kyiv's Solomyansky district. The Kyiv police received information that an unknown person had entered the premises of a business center and fired several shots.
As it became known, the armed man threatened the guards and forced them to leave the building. He then made several chaotic shots and threatened to set a tripwire at the front door to prevent law enforcement from entering.
KORD officers detained the attacker, no one was injured. An investigative team is currently working at the scene.
