The West has no narrative about "super corruption" in Ukraine, - Kuleba

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said that the West has no narrative that there is "super corruption" in Ukraine and no one is fighting it. In an interview with Forbes, he expressed outrage that Ukraine is being portrayed in the media as a corrupt country that is unable to fight this phenomenon.

He assured that at the level of the White House and the heads of major EU countries, there are no special demands or claims regarding corruption in Ukraine.

In this context, Kuleba noted that, on the contrary, during Zelensky's visit to Washington, the introduction of the law on a special anti-corruption prosecutor to the Verkhovna Rada and the decision to select judges to the Constitutional Court were very positively assessed.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Ukraine is changing for the better and stressed the need to continue efforts to fight corruption, but assured that there is no general narrative in the West about "super corruption" in Ukraine.
