Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov held a telephone conversation with Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren discussing priority issues on the front line, including air defense systems and long-range missiles. He reported this on his Facebook page.

During the conversation, the parties discussed Ukraine's urgent needs at the frontline, including air defense systems, long-range missiles and artillery.

They also discussed the Dutch experience in purchasing and providing weapons, which could be useful for Ukraine.

Umerov thanked the Netherlands for its leadership in the F-16 coalition, as well as for training Ukrainian pilots, its willingness to provide fighter jets and its plans to establish a pilot training center.

He also expressed a desire to meet with Ollongren in the framework of the upcoming Ramstein meeting and invited his colleague to visit Ukraine in the near future.
