Israel has regained control of its entire territory, but does not rule out the possibility that Hamas militants may be in the country. This was announced by Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari, The Guardian reports.

According to his statement, evacuations are currently underway from settlements located near the Gaza Strip. Israel also maintains high combat readiness in the north of the country. In the previous days, there were some localized incidents in the region, but no fighting.

Hagari noted that the Israeli army conducts regular air strikes on the Gaza Strip at four-hour intervals. At the same time, Israeli attacks are aimed only at locations where terrorists are present. During the operation, hundreds of targets were attacked, and, according to Hagari, hundreds of terrorists were killed.

He also noted that the electricity supply in the Gaza Strip has been cut off, and no one is entering or leaving the territory.

Israel has mobilized 300,000 reservists and assured that the army has enough equipment and food.

Regarding Israeli casualties, Hagari said that the death toll is about 700, including 73 soldiers.

Regarding the hostages, the army spokesman said that they have begun informing the families, and an official statement to the public will be made after contacting the families. He did not provide an exact number of hostages.
