Head of NATO Military Committee: Ukraine's ammunition stocks are running out

Western countries are faced with running out of ammunition stocks intended to be transferred to Ukraine. Therefore, it is necessary to speed up production, said Admiral Rob Bauer, head of NATO's military committee, CNN reports.

According to his statement, the stockpiles of ammunition in NATO countries have "hit rock bottom" and it is urgent to increase production to support the Ukrainian military on the front line.

"Now we can see the bottom. We need the industry to increase production at a much faster pace," Bauer said.

He also noted that the allies have increased military budgets but failed to adequately increase production capacity, which has led to higher prices.
