Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov has said that Ukraine will respond to new attacks on the energy sector by Russia. He said this in a commentary to the American TV channel CNN.
According to Umerov, Moscow will focus on striking Ukraine's energy infrastructure in the winter.
"But we will respond," Umerov added.
He added that he hopes that multi-purpose fighter jets will arrive in Ukraine as soon as possible to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces make progress in the counteroffensive.
"We need more weapons that will change the game. I hope the multi-role fighters will arrive soon and we will make progress. We need these weapons to regain territory and have an advantage on the battlefield," Umerov said.
