People's Deputy of Ukraine Andriy Ivanchuk died last night

On the night of September 25, People's Deputy of Ukrain Andriy Ivanchuk passed away. This was reported on Facebook by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.


"Terrible news. Last night, the People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 7th, 8th, 9th convocations Andriy Ivanchuk passed away. My sincere condolences to his family and friends on his untimely death. May he rest in peace!" Stefanchuk wrote.


The People's deputy was 50 years old. In 2019, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada as a non-partisan self-nominated candidate in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. In parliament, he joined the "Dovira" parliamentary group. Prior to that, he was elected from Tymoshenko's "Batkivshchyna" party and Yatsenyuk's "People's Front". 


According to media reports, the preliminary cause of death was a blood clot.
