Belarus has suspended the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe in relation to Poland and the Czech Republic. This was reported by BelTA.
The draft law, aimed at protecting the country's national interests, was submitted to the House of Representatives by the Council of Ministers of Belarus on September 6.
This action leads to the termination of the exchange of information on conventional armed forces and equipment between Minsk and Warsaw and Prague, as well as suspends inspections by Poland and the Czech Republic aimed at verifying compliance with the restrictions imposed by the CFE Treaty.
