Russia deployed an untested ship in the Black Sea: Humeniuk assesses the threat

The Black Sea is witnessing an unusual deployment of the Russian naval group, including the withdrawal of the untested Cyclone missile-carrying ship. This was reported by the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Humenyuk, during a briefing.

As Humenyuk noted, the enemy has deployed 20 ships and boats to the Black Sea, including warships, support vessels, as well as ships and boats of the Border Guard Service.

In particular, the Russian army has also deployed the Cyclone missile carrier, despite the fact that it has not yet been tested in a combat sense.

"However, we cannot ignore the fact that it is a missile carrier. The tactical and technical characteristics provide for its eight caliber equipment," added Humeniuk.

She also emphasized that Russian ships try to leave the bases as much as possible because of the possible threat in case of their defeat in a confined space.
