Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held talks with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock on the development of bilateral relations, expanding the coalition in support of the Peace Formula, new ways to export grain and providing additional weapons, including the strengthening of long-range Taurus missiles. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
It is noted that the meeting discussed the possibility of providing Ukraine with German long-range Taurus missiles.
It is also noted that the Ukrainian side is ready to do everything necessary to speed up the process of providing these missiles.
In addition, gratitude was expressed to the German side for its support in the defense sector, in particular in creating an air defense shield and strengthening the tank power of the Ukrainian army. The parties also discussed air defense before the new winter season and possible attacks on Ukraine's energy system by Russia.
The meeting also included discussions on promoting Ukrainian grain exports, preparations for the International Food Security Summit, and President Zelenskyy's humanitarian program "Grain From Ukraine".
