Russian attack on Odesa region: one person died (UPDATED)

Russian troops carried out a night attack on Odesa region with Shaheds, as a result of which one person died. This was reported by the head of the Odesa regional administration, Oleg Kiper, on Telegram.


"For almost three hours, Russian terrorists attacked Izmail district of Odesa region with attack drones. Unfortunately, one person was killed. An employee of an agricultural enterprise who was seriously injured died in hospital," the statement reads.


Kiper also noted that destruction and fires were recorded in several settlements of the region. Port and agricultural infrastructure facilities, including elevators, administrative buildings and agricultural enterprises, were damaged.

In Odesa region, power lines were damaged by nighttime shelling by kamikaze drones, leaving some consumers in the city of Kilia without electricity. Repair crews are inspecting the damaged networks.
