Ukraine is not going to make the concessions mentioned by Turkish President Erdogan regarding the resumption of the Black Sea initiative. This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during a telethon.
The minister emphasized that Ukrainian diplomats had previously contacted the Turkish side before Erdogan's meeting with Putin and clearly stated their position.
Kuleba stated: "Our position is fair - we should not continue to be hostages to Russian blackmail, when Russia creates problems and then invites everyone to solve them."
The Foreign Minister emphasized that Ukraine is waiting for detailed information on what was discussed by Turkish colleagues in Sochi and then will make a decision. He confirmed that Ukraine will stick to its principled positions, including sanctions pressure on Russia.
It is worth noting that Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in Sochi that Ukraine needs to "soften its approach" in order to resume the grain deal.
